Description
Invite students to step back in time with this Women's Suffrage Scavenger Hunt, an academic adventure designed to introduce students to the women's suffrage movement and the women who lead the way. Students will learn about leaders such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucy Stone, Ida B. Wells and several others. A great idea for Women's History month or as part of your social studies unit.
This scavenger hunt not only teaches students about the long fight for women's voting rights but also honors the resilience and courage of the women leaders who battled for equality. Through 10 short reading passages and questions, students will unlock the stories of these influential women and the key events that shaped this significant chapter in history.

10 Code Word Questions: Students answer questions from the readings to discover the code word they will write on their answer sheet.

How It Works:
Students start at any reading card which you've posted around the room. Each card contains a short passage followed by a question that when answered reveals a code word. This code word then directs students to the next card in a sequence unknown to them, requiring multiple interactions with the text to decode the mystery. Students can start at any card which allows your entire class to hunting at the same time. The challenge culminates in deciphering a final mystery word and 4-digit code, promoting critical thinking and retention of information.
