I've been teaching for almost 14 years. I love what I do! I love "my kids"... and they are "my kids!" I'm like the little old woman that lived in a shoe...I just live in a classroom instead! I'm always trying to better all aspects of myself...personally and professionally. A good teacher should never stop learning. I love finding new things for my kids to do to help them learn. I am a learner that uses all of my senses, so I really try to incorporate that aspect when finding new and different things for my kiddos. We all learn differently! I cater to all aspects of our senses; therefore, all of my scholars learning styles are reached. My kids are my family away from family. So, when invited, I attend birthday parties, dance recitals, baseball games, etc. I had wonderful teachers in my life that did the same for me! I'm just carrying on their influences!
