I began substituting 4 years ago with Miami Dade County Public Schools. I have had the pleasure of working with educators that inspire me to be a better teacher and have become true friends. I'm a single mom of 4 wonderful kids that motivate me every day to be the best person I can be. I know that as a parent, I have a responsibility of being a role model and raising responsible, independent, honest, compassionate, and respectful individuals.
Ever since I can remember, education has been an important part in my life. Like many other immigrants, my mother came to this country in search of better opportunities. My mother did not have the opportunities many people today take for granted, like a free quality education. She has taught me to value education and has always said that the knowledge you gain can never be taken away from you.
I earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and worked in different industries such as banking, biomedical, tourism and entertainment. I've worked as a corporate trainer for over 10 years and have led projects with success. I have had the good fortune to work with people from all walks of life that have enriched my life. I've obtained my Master's in Educational Leadership and hope to continue growing to better serve other educators.
As an educator, I hope to provide a positive and stable environment to all my students. I want my students to fall in love with learning. Every student should realize that they are special and have an important role in society. I wish to be the most effective teacher by leading students to become a positive contribution to society.
