I teach a kindergarten gifted class. These student need to move around throughout the days. They learn best when they are working in a comfortable environment. I have spent hundreds of dollars on flexible seating but need help with a few more items to complete my classroom. The student benefit from being less disruptive and can burn energy throughout the day, they make choices of how to work and whom to do it with and an uncomfortable student is distracted and unproductive, this encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm.
