I have been teaching high school for 15 years. Prior to teaching high school, I taught early childhood. Now, I will be teaching 5th grade. I am completely starting over and I do not have anything for my new classroom. I usually purchase everything with my own money but I do not have the funds to do that this time. I have been sick for 8 months and missed a lot of work last year. At the present time, a huge portion of my paycheck is being used towards my overage of sick days and I have a lot of doctor bills. In my 27 years of teaching, I have never asked for help. But I am in need of classroom makeover and I just do not have the funds to decorate my classroom.
