"The world we live in equally distributes talent, but it does not equally distribute opportunity". This is so true at my school. My students are at a Title 1 school in middle Georgia. More than 50% fall below the poverty line.

They need more opportunity, less judgment, and more people to believe in them and how amazing they can be. They need to see how wonderful they can be.

I am the media specialist, and I scrape what tiny budget I have along with scouring thrift stores, and spending more of my own money than I would like to admit to get books and maker space supplies. I want kids excited about new books, more books available on their reading level, and supplies so that they can show their spark of imagination.
