Annette Laubscher

Hello! My name is Annette Laubscher but most of my students just call me Mrs.! I have been teaching for 12 years and my home has been at Hialeah Gardens Middle School for 9 of those wonderful years. I've been teaching several branches of science throughout my career but biology is where my heart is. I currently teach 8th graders and I have 8 biology classes having a grand total of 210 students! I absolutely love teaching and I love biology so it's definitely the perfect love story. I used to have a small side business with my husband breeding ball pythons. I would take some of my snakes to school to educate about them, from genetics to ecology. Ever since I was a young girl, science was always in my interest. I'm very lucky to be doing what I love the most! I'm married and have 2 teenagers, a 13 year old and a 15 year old. I don't have the snake business any longer but I do have a dog and a bird. Some hobbies are motorcycle riding with my husband and friends, watching movies, fishing, and let's not forget, sleeping! I'm hoping TeacherFunder helps me and my students out with money for supplies and materials. Most of the supply money that I've received goes to buying toner for the printer.
