I have been a public school teacher for 22 years. I currently work in a district where many students experience poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, etc... The compassionate staff at my school works tirelessly to help these students feel secure and to seek academic success. A huge disadvantage that our students face is a lack of access to current technologies. Our students are falling behind in the skills they will require to be career ready in their futures.
