A clear floor space of at least 6 feet wide (a space that is 10 x10 is ideal)

Please note: this class does introduce "aerials", backhand springs, or front handsprings.

FAQ
-
My child has some gymnastics experience, will this class be a good fit?
This program is designed for beginners. Learners with experience may still benefit from the warm-up activities. Please carefully review the syllabus to determine if this course is the right level for your child.
-
Does my child need to be flexible?
No. We encourage students not to compare themselves to their friends and instead to focus on their own individual goals. There are many moves provided that do not require flexibility and they may be new to your child.
-
My child is already super flexible, is this class right for them?
Maybe. Some children are very flexible, but lack muscle strength. This means they may be able to easily do splits or a back bend; however, they may lack the muscle strength to prevent injury or the control to do more advanced skills.
