Description
In this breakin' (breakdance) class for beginners we'll learn some basic moves and put together our own flows.
Is your kid is curious about "break dancing"? Whether your child has no experience breakin', has learned some moves from Rae's Kids Dance Jam, or just makes up their own moves at home, this class is designed to help kids build a breakin' foundation.
This self-paced course consist of 6 videos (approximately 12-18 minutes each) which introduce some break dance terminology, a dance warm-up, and a little on the dance culture. The dance warm is included in each video to encourage students not to skip this important step as strength and flexibility are necessary for harder moves.
No back flips, head spins, headstands, or the worm.
This class focuses on safety and execution. While the course is designed for students to follow each video independently, students under the recommended age should have a parent present when following the moves.
If your child has tons of breakin' experience then this class is not recommended. This class is best for beginners or those looking to work on their foundation.
