Description
Teachers can agree that small group instruction is key to reaching all students' needs. But the traditional rotation model with set orders and time limits poses some challenges:
- What happens when a student is in the flow of working on a station, but the timer goes off, leaving just a few questions left to do?
- What happens if a students come in late, but since their group has already visited teacher table they miss instructional time with you for that day?
- What happens when a student needs choices to motivate?
- What happens when students progress and lack organizational and time management skills because everything has been directed for them for so long?
