Students will learn how to create engaging narratives, build persuasive arguments, explore poetic expression, and analyze literature. Each assignment helps them grow as writers and deepen their understanding of writing techniques.

The course covers a range of topics including informal and formal essays, definition essays, persuasive writing, personal narratives, research papers, creative writing, dialogue construction, book reports, comparative analysis, poetic expression, literature analysis, and myths and fables.
How is the class structured?
This self-paced class features 12 modules, each focusing on a different genre of writing. Learners can go at their own pace, with each assignment building on the last to help them grow as writers and explore new writing styles.

Each assignment comes with clear instructions, helpful examples, and included rubrics to guide students in understanding expectations and assessing their work. Additionally, prompts are provided that can be used with AI technologies to generate feedback, reflect on writing, and support improvement.
