Some parts of the Old Testament are often overlooked:
• The genealogies in Genesis
• The tabernacle descriptions in Exodus
• The ritual purity laws in Leviticus
These sections may seem tedious or irrelevant - but they're crucial to the story and theology of Scripture.
"Old Testament Texts You've Overlooked - Until Now" guides students through these often-neglected passages, helping them discover how each section contributes to the overarching narrative of the Bible and why they still provide value and practical application today.
This version of the course includes:
• Over 2 hours of video content, broken into 12 short lessons (5"15 minutes each)
• Downloadable PDFs with reading assignments and extension questions to apply what you've learned
Students will develop skills to approach challenging passages with confidence, building Bible study practices they can use well beyond these specific texts.

I have been teaching the Bible for over 15 years in a variety of settings, including churches, schools, online platforms, one-on-one mentoring, small groups, and large classrooms. I spent six years as a schoolteacher, primarily with middle school students, but also teaching elementary and high school students. For 3.5 years, I worked as an evangelist and Bible teacher for a local church. I hold a lay counseling certificate from the Biblical Counseling Center, which complements my teaching and mentoring work. Additionally, I have five years of experience providing training in the corporate space at a large financial institution.

Do I need prior Bible knowledge to take this course?
No prior expertise is required, but a basic familiarity with the Bible is helpful (Creation, the Promises to Abraham, the Covenant with Isreal at Mount Sinai, King David, the story of Jesus' death/resurrection, etc.).

How long will it take to complete the course?
The course contains about 2 hours and 15 minutes of video content, divided into 12 short lessons. Most students complete it in 3"4 hours when including extension questions and reading assignments.

What materials are included?
Included are extension questions for each of the 3 sections, where you can apply what you've learned to other sections of scripture. There's also a reading assignment to go with the Introduction video.
