Hi! I am a first year teacher in northern Michigan. I teach 20 wonderful fourth graders in a small town school. Our school district has about 25 teachers and about 700 students enrolled in K-12. Of those 700 students, more than 72% are economically disadvantaged. My goal is to provide my students with a comfortable and safe environment in which they can master grade-level content in whichever way works best for them. To accomplish this, I am trying to raise enough money to provide flexible seating and newer technologies to foster learning for every student.
