Hi I am a teacher for middle school students at very low income school that is is also small compared to most schools. I teach intensive reading classes for middle school students. We use a lot of technology in our classrooms as the children tend to be more involved when we do. We do not have very good technology and some of it is completely worn out. One of the programs the intensive reading students has to use require headphones with a microphone. These are many years old and many have to be wiggled around to work. I have bought a few with my own personal money but could desperately use many many more pairs. The ones the students use now are so aggravating and old that it creates more of a problem and a distraction and I feel my students are not receiving the full instruction they need because of time spent try to get them to work. We doe the best we can and it works sometimes but my classes could really use some new headsets for their program.
