The funds will be used for providing flex seating around the classroom for use in both independent and partner work, to allow the students to move around and improve their concentration and include more classroom autonomy. This is a way to help students remain in their seats when needed to ask well by giving them a way to fidget. Some other items will be purchased for use in station work to help incorporate hands-on learning in science to increase their understanding, engagement and the memorization of standards. This will also benefit their social emotional learning and improve teamwork among my students. With hands-on activities, students must work together for a common goal and be exposed to more knowledge from their classmates around them.
