Hello! My name is Amanda Sterner and I am overjoyed to be a teacher in the South San Francisco Unified School District. Teaching is a dream come true for me and I can't think of a better school to teach in. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and mostly low socioeconomic status. Teaching Kindergarten means that I am often the first teacher my students have had and it's such a humbling feeling to know that I am able to shape their introduction to education. It's hard work but I have such a beautiful team to work together for these super students! That includes other teachers, kids and parents all working together. All we need is our community to make it perfect! Thank you.
