About
I began my journey as an educator about 15 years ago as a paraprofessional at the school that my children were attending. After doing this job for several years, I decided to go back to school and earn my teaching degree!. I am now teaching at the same school that I was a paraprofessional at and I love it. This will be my 5th year teaching, and my 3rd year teaching at our school.
I teach 2nd grade and love this age of student. They want to learn and experience life! I love bringing resources into my classroom that they haven't been fortunate enough to be exposed to in the past. This is a Title 1 school in a high poverty area. Our school enrollment and budget have declined over the years. I hope to make up for this deficit in my classroom by seeking grants.
