I'm a 'later in life became a teacher," I denied it for so long and finally gave in! My mother was a kindergarten teacher for 32 years, all at Alba Golden. This is my 13th year. 12 of those were in 3rd grade and this year I'm a 4th grade teacher of science and social studies. Its been a new adventure and a good one. My school district is a small district and it seems that we keep growing. We have good values and goals and try to establish those in our students as being successful in academics as well in life. I enjoy what I do, but I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up! Which means that I love to keep learning new things and spreading my wings.
