About
Humbly, I am grateful for an opportunity to ask for funding for my awesome and precious students ? As a reading specialist, and previous gifted and talented teacher in the district, I was invited to create a third, fourth, and fifth gifted and talented program in my elementary school.
Realizing this, I was grateful for the support from our administrators and staff. Upon learning about each of my 20 students, I realized that they needed more based upon independent needs, hence books, experiences outside of the normal realm, connections with people outside of the community,
I wanted to help my basic skills students… but I couldn't pull them as I needed to because of scheduling conflicts with their classroom teachers, so I thought if I could combine both of my populations of students and somehow have special expenses for them, they may grow to understand that they are worthy of so much more in life. ❤️
I'm hoping by receiving funding, my students may have some diverse experiences before the end of June. And then to look forward into next school year September onwords, with a different mindset. Because of a special gift from the American Association of neurology, my students went to Philadelphia to learn and understand how the brain works?
We hope that you are as eager and as enthusiastic as we are to learn and give back to more students! My students plan on sharing their poetry, research, their book, and experiences to others in the school.Some have shared their poems, over the PA system and many people have acknowledged their wonderful work.??????
