About
Hamlin Charter Academy is a public elementary school with 350 students from preschool to fifth grade. Many of the students are from economically disadvantaged families. As a result, they receive free lunch. Many of the students here cannot afford school supplies so teachers scour all stores to take advantage of the summer back to school sales. Using our own personal money, we have to stretch our limited budget to get the most school supplies we could buy for all our students.
