My name is Holly Wooldridge and I have spent the last 22 years teaching Spanish at Westran High School! I haven't had an immersion experience since I was in college in 1996! I applied and was awarded a scholarship for two weeks of immersion study in Cuernavaca, Mexico by the Central States on the Teaching of Foreign Language. In order to accept this scholarship I have to attend the Central States Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages in Minneapolis, MN in March. The cost of the conference is $150.00 and the cost of the hotel for the conference is $340.00. I am also responsible for the cost of the flight from Kansas City, MO to Mexico City, Mexico this summer. I have looked at the price of flights and they run approximately $500. I would appreciate any donations toward these extra costs! Thank you so much for your consideration!
