I have been an early childhood educator for 14 years in the same school district, which has seen both devastation and triumph as a small town. Many children I've taught during these years have had to overcome immeasurable odds in order to thrive on the same 'playing field of life' as those that come from a more privileged environment.
I am inspired daily by my children's progress, their needs, and their love for learning. Their dedication to exploration inspired me to persue a master's degree in early childhood education so I could better serve the youngest learners year after year.
Devastating budget cuts to our district are now threatening my ability to provide some of the most basic materials & novel experiences. The impact of even the smallest donation made to my classroom will have a profound effect. Thank you.
