About
I am a First Grade teacher at Payneville Elementary. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a master's degree in Literacy and a second master's degree in School Counseling. I have ten years of experience with grades Kindergarten through Third Grade. I love teaching students to not only be lifelong learners, but help develop them into well-rounded human beings with great character and relationships. I know a lot of teachers create wishlists on Amazon, but I thought I might try something different this time. My school has an amazing PTO which allows me to get most of what I need. However, throughout the year, I have certain traditions and events that can cost some money - sometimes the money comes out of my pocket, sometimes the parents, and sometimes local businesses. Some of our traditions include: Johnny Appleseed Day, matching pajamas for Polar Express Day, matching shirts from classroomfaces.com, The Great Soap Boat Race, pizza parties, and much more. That is why I thought I would start a fundraiser with Classful as a way to fund those celebrations that can't be bought on Amazon. By my calculations, my traditions and celebrations cost around $40 per child for the year. So my fundraising goal reflects that based on having the same number of students I've had in the past; 26. I would gladly share pictures with donors as proof that the money is being spent correctly! I appreciate any amount given and know that this money will help us create many great memories!
