I'm a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of 2 beautiful girls. I've been teaching middle school for 18 years and even with all the stress, I love it! I try to make sure my students know they are loved and have a safe place if needed.
I started flexible seating last year with a couple of yoga balls, 4 podiums, and 4 wobble stools. It has made a big difference because the students are able to move while they still listen and complete their work. I would love to expand the flexible seating to allow more students the opportunity to be more productive. Flexible seating has been proven to be effective due to students being able to move while still staying focused and completing their work.
