About
I teach students with Autism. Some of them have ADHD and are developmentally delayed. It's my 11th year of teaching at Purche Elementary School. I feel that I am an advocate for these students who can't protect and defend themselves. I truly believe in teaching my students how to be independent and functional. I need hands on materials (play dough, puzzles, squishy balls, kinetic sand etc.) for these students to develop their motor skills. I also need a classroom rug. As all of my students are visual learners I need a lap top computer to connect to my overhead projector to do math and language arts lessons.
