Hi. My name is Susie. I live in San Diego with my family. I have been teaching for 25 years with San Diego unified district. I am currently teaching third grade class with 95% of my students qualified for free lunch. Most of my parents are in the military or working at fast food restaurants. It is very difficult for me to ask them to donate school supplies when they can barely put food on the table for their family. Due to the budget cut, we have limited school supplies for teachers to use in the classroom. In order for my students to function well in the classroom, I have to purchase certain supplies such as color pencils, highlighters, Post-it notes, notebooks, twin pocket folders, computer headphone, etc. The children and I are very grateful for your support. No donations is too small. Thank you so much!
