Imagine a classroom where students aren't just notetaking and being lectured about science; they're discovering it through hands-on experiments, making observations, asking questions, and learning by doing.
I recently became the science lab teacher at our elementary school, and I am excited to help my students develop a love for science. Unfortunately, our science lab has very limited funding for the materials and supplies needed to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Right now, much of our curriculum relies on note-taking, but elementary students learn best when they can explore, experiment, and discover concepts for themselves.
With your support, I can purchase lab materials, experiment kits, safety supplies, and other classroom resources that will bring science to life for my students. Every donation will help create exciting lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. I am hoping to specifically get FOSS science kits into my lab. These are very expensive, however, and my site does not have the budget for them.
Like many teachers, I have already spent a significant amount of my own money to provide enriching experiences for my students. Your generosity will help ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in meaningful, hands-on science activities throughout the school year.
