This is my first year as a grade level teacher (4th grade) and I will be teaching in an inner city school where most of the kids have experienced significant trauma. They live in the most dangerous city in the US, and many can't afford food or school supplies.
I would love to create a healthy, safe, fun, and inviting space for the students, so they know they're loved and cared about!
We need items like an electric pencil sharpener, hand soap and sanitizer, umbrellas, decorations, alternative seating, general supplies, Dixie cups, paper towels, a decent rug etc.
