Marvin's First Day is a children's book series that features Marvin, a 7 year old 2nd grade boy.

This project is for an animated series featuring Marvin and his supplementary activity book.
The series celebrates Black historical figures from Michelle Obama to Simone Biles. Through engaging 1 min Knowledge Builders, Marvin informs elementary aged students about the accomplishments of African Americans. Teachers and parents are able to further the engagement and knowledge building via activities that immerse kids into each of the highlighted individuals experiences.
Malcolm Anthony Dill, author and educator, is based in New York City where he teaches elementary music during the week and offers engaging literacy based programming on the weekends and his off days.
