Hello families of Franklin 6th graders!
This May, your student will have the opportunity to compete for a fun reward - a McDonald's lunch here at school! 🍟🍔 We will announce the winners on Monday, May 18th and hold the party during the last week of school (date and time TBD).
At Franklin STEAM Academy, our motto is "Our Legacy Begins with Literacy!" To support that mission, we're launching a friendly competition using our powerful online literacy program, Lexia.
From May 4th - May 17th, students who meet all of their individualized Lexia goals will earn this special lunch celebration. These goals are tailored to each student's reading level, meaning every student has a fair and achievable path to success. We will work on Lexia at school, and your student is encouraged to work on it at home as well to meet their goals, on their district provided device.
We are asking for a small donation to help cover the cost of meals for our winning students. Any contribution - big or small - helps us celebrate their hard work and growth!
Thank you for supporting literacy and encouraging your child to give their best effort. We're excited to see what they can accomplish! 📚✨
