Recently, in a board meeting, Mr. Traer delivered some disheartening news. Despite his dedication and hard work, he informed us that due to insufficient funding, some of the supplies he had planned for the upcoming school year would not be available for the students of North Beach Jr/Sr High School. While he was incorrect in the reasoning they were not available and took a direct jab at some community members, the important thing is the students.
As a parent of two students who have been taught by Mr. Traer, I can attest to the immense value he brings to the classroom. His passion for science and his dedication to his students is unparalleled. It breaks my heart to hear that he may not have the resources to provide the quality science program our children deserve. As a community, we are responsible for ensuring that our children's education is enriched and that they are given every opportunity to succeed.
Let us not allow lack of enrollment, which is why his supplies were not in the budget, to stand in the way of our children's education. Let us unite and support Mr. Traer in any way we can so that our children do not have to go without the supplies they need to thrive in their education. Together, we can make a difference and show our children that their education is our top priority. Let us stand behind Mr. Traer and ensure that he has the tools he needs to continue shaping the minds of our future generation.
Any money raised will go directly to the North Beach Jr/Sr High School science program. Private individuals, businesses, and friends/family of students are encouraged to donate. Even $5.00 can make a huge difference.
