About
Hello, everyone! I'm Malory, a devoted American Sign Language (ASL) teacher, interpreter, and certified yoga instructor. I specialize in virtual ASL education and also make four site visits per year for each of my several (7+) classes and school districts. These visits enrich our learning environment and allow for a more hands-on approach.
Why I'm Fundraising
In our digitally connected world, robust tech resources are critical, especially in a virtual classroom like mine. I'm seeking your support to upgrade our virtual ASL setup with:
A High-Quality Laptop: Vital for a seamless virtual classroom, a reliable laptop lets me create interactive lessons, securely store student records, and organize class materials.
Online Subscriptions: I aim to provide my students with state-of-the-art ASL educational software, heightening their virtual learning experience.
Physical & On-site Resources: While we primarily operate virtually, tangible items like textbooks, flashcards, games, and activities are crucial. These resources are particularly important for the in-person site visits I conduct four times a year for each class.
Why it Matters
Your support will have a far-reaching impact, extending well beyond the walls of our virtual classroom. By donating, you invest in future communicators who can engage empathetically with the Deaf community.
More About Me
Outside my virtual classroom, I strive to be a pillar of positivity and growth for my family as a dedicated mother and wife. I revel in yoga, singing, and swimming, constantly looking to enrich the lives of those I encounter.
How You Can Help
Donate: Every contribution is immensely valuable.
Share: Amplify our cause by sharing our campaign on your social networks.
Stay Updated: I'll offer regular updates to keep you informed about our progress and the impact of your donation.
Thank you for contemplating a contribution to enhance our virtual ASL classroom. Together, we can equip each student with the indispensable tools for meaningful communication and lifelong learning.
