Within small groups, the small group table with a whiteboard aligns with every academic objective for my small groups. Bridging those gaps within students and giving them the chance to write in front of me without the hassle of using a pencil or paper while still being able to collaborate with their peers next to them, is everything a small group would ask for. The stools that are added to it are just the next level of being able to create and inclusive and fun environment to pull small groups with. students are reluctant to come to small groups due to embarrassment, and something as simple as putting a chair in front of them that they want to sit on as well as a smart board is all it takes. These small things get them excited to learn and everyone will eventually want to be pulled for small groups.
