About

My students are a sweet group of children who love to learn but do not have the necessary resources to be the best that they can be. They are a great group of students and love to learn. My students need Marble Run and building sticks and blocks to create an exciting and motivating morning STEM time. With the generous support of people like you, I will be able to help students to gain an interest for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. My students will get to start each day on a high note with STEM morning tubs. Students will have a choice of materials such as magnetic tiles, Mad Mattr, LEGOs and more to assemble with. My students will be able to perform simple experiments. While in the stations the students will engage in engineering activities to extend the learning and build critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. While in the magnet station the students will be able to use magnets to push cars up a ramp, move a magnetic mouse through a maze while learning all about magnetism & magnetic fields. The students will also be able to explore and understand the science behind buoyancy while participating in the sink and float activities. The funding of this project is important because it will help to create a natural interest and curiosity in exploring how things work.
