Thank you so much for your incredible generosity. Your support to help me resolve the lack of water access in our art classroom was deeply moving.
I am writing to update you on the status of these funds. I recently learned that the DonorsChoose platform requires that all funded items become the property of the school administration. To ensure your donation is used exactly as intended and remains under my direct stewardship for the students, I am transitioning our fundraising to Classful. This ensures the water stations stay in the classroom and remain accessible to my students.
Since the DonorsChoose project has expired, your donation should be available to you as a credit in your account. I hope you will consider carrying that support over to our new campaign on Classful once it is live.
While it is late in the school year, these water stations are a perfect long-term solution. They will be essential if I am in the same classroom next year, and their portability makes them perfect for "pushing in" to other spaces or hosting evening painting events. Regardless of whether we are near a sink, my students will get years of use out of these - saving them trips for water and helping me teach them proper paintbrush care.
My priority remains ensuring my students aren't deprived of the art experiences they deserve. Thank you for standing with us.
