I have noticed in my past school that weaving on a real floor loom was a creative way for cooperative learning. Often students can face challenges in life and school and being able to focus on a repetitive task allows them time to think, decompress and find their calm. In addition, students in general also benefit from the cooperative learning experience that takes place on a floor loom. Students collaborate on the project and others ever teach less experienced weavers the ins and outs of the process. That benefits them all. I'm beginning the year at a new school and would like the students here to have these wonderful learning opportunities. Thank you for your donation to make this a reality for these kids.
