Hi there! I am a first grade teacher at a Title 1 Charter school in Broward County, Florida! I love my school and my students but year after year we face the same challenges and that is not enough technology. I would love to be able to get about 2 laptops or 2 tablets for my students. We really stress programs such as I-Ready, Reflex Math and Accelerated Reading as excellent resources to help our students achieve success. However, being a Title 1 school many of our kids can't afford to use these peograms at home due to lack of internet and computers. Having these laptops in my classroom would give them more opportunities to learn using technology and one bonus is, that kids LOVE using computers!
