@kristine-seeleyI teach kindergarten at a Title 1 school. This means around 70% of our students are at or below the poverty level. Our school is currently going through budget cuts which is having a great impact on parents, students, and teachers. I don't want to create additional hardships by making them provide school supplies. The parents only concern with their child is that they are learning and growing in a caring environment. The students main concern should be that they love school and our excited to be there. My main focus should be providing a lovable, exciting, and fun learning environment.
