Hello, my name is Monique Chabolla. I am a mother of two beautiful children. I have been in the education field for 14 years and have been loyal to LAUSD. I am currently teaching a mild/moderate 5th grade special day class. I hold my mild/moderate and moderate/severe credentials. I currently work in a low income area in Central Los Angeles. Unfortunately, our parents are trying their best to provide for their families by taking on two-three jobs. The educators at Union Ave Elementary are trying to teach our students the importance of an education and doing so by making learning fun. We believe that learning would be more accessible with technology, which we are limited to at our school. I would like to extend my gratitude for your contribution, anything helps. Thank you.
