I have been very blessed to teach 2nd grade in elementary school. Unfortunately, I am required to teach art and science with no art supplies or science projects. I have spent so much of my own money to purchase art and science projects that my family has asked to search for a new career. I have a second job that helps me pay for the art and science supplies for my classroom but I'm exhausted. I requested for a Christmas donation of books for my students who are at kindergarten level readers and I didn't get a single book. I go around town buying books for my students at yard sales every weekend before my 2nd job. I am at my wits end with the difficulty of this situation.
