Welcome to my profile. I have taught English for the past 24 years at Jamestown High School. Our District is a high poverty school district with 100% receiving free breakfast and lunch. An alarming number of our families fall below the poverty rate. Despite these alarming statistics, our school has students who excel, ranking in the top 20% of all schools in Western New York.

We are the only high school in our city and have a very diverse population. This year I will be joining a committee of teachers who are opening a thrift store for our JHS students.
