This chalkboard flip calendar is perfect for your map theme classroom decor, if you need a classroom calendar that doesn’t require monthly maintenance or occupy an entire bulletin board! This map theme flip calendar has everything you need to display the date with only a few seconds of effort per day - just flip a card or two on your calendar display while you are updating your objectives or agenda.
This PDF flip calendar kit includes the following printable elements:
Days of the Week: Sunday - Saturday
Months of the Year: January - December
Numbered Dates: 1 – 31
Numbered Dates with commas: 1, - 31,
Years: 2023-2033
Choose from two printing options:
1. Print pages with lines dividing the individual cards. This allows for a more precise cut when using scissors to separate the printable cards.
2. Print pages without dividing lines. This is more forgiving for irregularities along your guillotine cutter blade, etc.
If you print, laminate, and hang this calendar today, you won’t need to take further action until 2033!
Suggestions for displaying your flip calendar:
Magnetic rod and binder rings: I recommend 2” binder rings and a 28”-36” magnetic curtain rod to hang at the top of your white board.
Magnets or magnetic clips: For this approach, I recommend heavy magnets, bulldog clips, or IKEA Kungsfors magnetic clips for any magnetic surface.
Clothespins: I recommend hot glue, colored duct tape, or the adhesive that works best in your classroom environment to firmly secure the pins in place for the year.
