Description
Looking for a fun math game to play with your students at the end of the year to review math concepts learned in 2nd grade? How about a competitive and fun review game for the beginning of 3rd grade? This interactive Jeopardy game is a downloadable PowerPoint that you can use a for a fun, competitive, no-prep lesson to review place value, money, time, word problems, and fractions.
With 5 Jeopardy questions per category that are worth 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 points each, there are a variety of questions ranging from easy to more difficult. Just put the PowerPoint into Slideshow mode and start playing with your class. A button in the corner of each slide will automatically transport you to the correct answer and then back again to the game board.

This Jeopardy Math Review Game works well as an end of the year activity in your 2nd grade math classroom. You can also play this game with your 3rd grade class at the beginning of the year to review last year's math content.
Topics covered:
This game covers all the major topics taught in 2nd grade math, such as place value, counting and adding money, telling time, a.m and p.m., word problems and fractions.
How to use this:
- Put PowerPoint into presentation mode.
- Start on the game board slide.
- Divide the class into two teams. Assign one student from each team to keep track of their team's points. This can be done on the whiteboard.
- Team 1 will choose a category and a points value. Click on that rectangle on the game board and you will be automatically transported to the question.
- Team 1 works together to come up with an answer. They can say their answer out loud or show it on a mini white board.
- Click on the button in the bottom left corner to check their answer.
- Once the answer is checked and the points are added (or not), click on the home button in the bottom left corner to be transported automatically back to the game board.
- The points value for the question that Team 1 just answered will now be disappeared, so it automatically keeps track of which questions have already been answered.
- Now it's Team 2's turn!
