Topics covered:
This game covers all the major topics taught in 3rd grade ELA, such as answering questions about a text, central message, point of view, compare & contrast, using context to understand new words, main idea & details, fact & opinion, cause & effect, short vs long vowels, syllable division, syllable types, prefixes and suffixes, parts of speech, comparative & superlative adjectives, simple/compound/complex sentences, conjunctions, capitalization rules, types of writing, giving reasons to support an opinion and writing dialogue.

How to use this:
- Put PowerPoint into presentation mode.
- Start on the game board slide.
- Divide the class into two teams. Assign one student from each team to keep track of their team's points. This can be done on the whiteboard.
- Team 1 will choose a category and a points value. Click on that rectangle on the game board and you will be automatically transported to the question.
- Team 1 works together to come up with an answer. They can say their answer out loud or show it on a mini white board.
- Click on the button in the bottom left corner to check their answer.
- Once the answer is checked and the points are added (or not), click on the home button in the bottom left corner to be transported automatically back to the game board.
- The points value for the question that Team 1 just answered will now be disappeared, so it automatically keeps track of which questions have already been answered.
- Now it's Team 2's turn!
