Description
This is an interactive 5-day lesson plan to introduce solids and liquids to younger grade levels along with learning about the 4 types of precipitation: rain, snow, sleet, and hail. This lesson actively integrates the two together over the 5 days and prompts teachers with questions all throughout. This includes videos, student involved activities, and critical thinking lessons intermixed with lessons that involves bringing in student's likes and creativity. This activity is amazing for integrating solid & liquid lesson plans with water cycle or precipitation and walks the students from the opening to the closing of the lesson. This integrates the two concepts and allow kids to apply different content areas, like solids and liquids versus precipitation, into one lesson and helps students be able to further apply knowledge into other lesson.
