Acts of Kindness: A Lesson on Kindness including the EPIC Top Secret Kindness Challenge for Catholic students in 2nd-5th grade is an excellent activity for fostering a classroom community at the beginning of the year. It also works well as a classroom initiative for building up kindness and inclusiveness in a class of students who may need a little extra help in this area.

This resource includes a step-by-step kindness lesson plan containing picture book connections, worksheets and games to get students thinking about why kindness is important. As a kindness bible lesson, kindness quotes from scripture and the saints are included in the slide deck provided for the teacher to use when introducing our call to kindness as Catholics as we strive to live out the Greatest Commandment.
