This is a series of lesson for Anthony Doerr's All the Light We Cannot See. Students complete several close reading activities for section Zero of the novel. This is a great introductory activity since students are introduced to both Marie-Laure and the Werner. Students practice the skill of analyzing evidence and interpreting important literary devices within each passage, such as characterization, personification, mood, atmosphere, and more. Students also practice working with new vocabulary.
