Description
This product is perfect for a math center or independent activity.
Math Center:
Print on cardstock, cut and laminate. Place velcro on apples and on tree. Have students sort the apples according to color. Use a dry-erase marker to practice writing the numeral 5.
Extensions:
- Practice one-to-one counting numbers 1-5
- Practicing adding red and yellow apples together
Independent Practice:
Print on paper. Have student cut the strip of apples (only if this is practice or part of the objective). Student will sort apples based on color and glue to the tree. If the student has difficulty with cutting skills, make sure the apples are cut out in advance. Student can practice counting the five apples and writing the numeral 5 next to each tree.
