This low prep Mad Libs inspired activity will have your students engaged and practicing with composite figures including rectangles, triangles, trapezoids, circles, and semicircles modeled after the STAAR question format. You can use this as an informal assessment or as a great review before STAAR or a unit test.
This activity includes:
- 10 practice problems
- A sheet for students to show work and fill in the story blanks
- A teacher answer key
All you need to do is print the activity, make copies of the student sheet, post the questions around the room, and go!
